Dr. Aghdashi’s areas of expertise include traffic operations on surface streets, simulation analysis, software development, and mathematical optimization. He has over ten years of professional experience focusing on research in transportation engineering. He was involved in several funded NCHRP, SHRP 2, FHWA, NCDOT, STRIDE, and University of Maryland projects. Dr. Aghdashi serves as a member for TRB Committee on Highway Capacity and Quality of Service (AHB40).
