Nick has worked in nonprofit development his entire career. He has grown networks and developed successful fundraising proposals across broad subject matter areas in higher education ranging from biomedical research to theoretical physics. He has been fortunate to work at academic institutions such as Carnegie Mellon University, UC Berkeley, Emory University, Brown University, and the University of Florida.

Duties

Nick Cole is the Director of Development for ESSIE. Nick works to grow support for ESSIE through fundraising and alumni activities. Together with faculty, staff, and students, Nick identifies and creates unique opportunities to further ESSIE’s educational, research, and community-building missions, in addition to highlighting the successes of the Civil and Environmental Engineering departments, and research centers and institutes within the School.
