A native of Gainesville, FL. Served in the US Air Force for 8 years as an Avionics Technician on F-15E Strike Eagle and F-22 Raptor aircraft. Returned to Gainesville to be close to family and attend graduate school at UF. Worked in Health Administration since 2012, first at the VA Medical Center, then in the College of Medicine with the Division of Gastroenterology.

He enjoys traveling, sports, and anything outdoors. His favorite activities include camping, cooking, soccer, tennis, and dog sports. He particularly enjoys visiting our beautiful natural freshwater springs in North Florida and fishing along the Gulf Coast.
