Dr. Riding was a coauthor of "Risk of Thermal Cracking from Use of Lightweight Aggregate in Mass Concrete." This paper was not only selected as the 2017 Best Student Paper from the Transportation Research Board Standing Committee on Basic Research and Emerging Technologies Related to Concrete but it was also selected to receive the 2017 Concrete Materials Section Best Paper Award.
